How to apply

(1) Applying via the online certificate payment system (only for former students)
Important Notices for Using the Online Application System
  • In addition to the certificate issuance fee and postal charges (including express delivery charges), you will also be required to pay a designated system usage fee.
  • You will need a credit card in your name or that of a relative.
  • You will need to upload an image of a document (※1) that can verify your identity via the Internet.
  • Once payment has been completed, the certificate issuance fee, postage fee (including express delivery fee), and system usage fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. If you have any questions, please be sure to consult us in advance.

*1: Only Japanese driver's license, passport, health insurance card, and basic resident registration card are accepted. If you do not have any of the above, please contact us in advance. Please do not submit your My Number card.

Please bring the following two items with you to the Academic Affairs Department Office.

1. Identification documents
Limited to driver's license (Japanese), passport, health insurance card, and basic resident registration card.
If you do not have any of the above, please contact us in advance.

② Issuance fee
Cash (purchase a certificate stamp from the automatic certificate issuing machine)

Application by a proxy (someone other than the person in question)

If you are applying via proxy (someone other than the graduate himself/herself), please bring the following four items to the Academic Affairs Department counter (Global Square 1st floor).

1. A copy of a certificate verifying the identity of the person (graduate) listed on the certificate
Limited to driver's license (Japanese), passport, health insurance card, and basic resident registration card.
If you do not have the above items, please contact us in advance. Please do not submit your My Number card.

② Issuance fee
Cash (purchase a certificate stamp from the automatic certificate issuing machine)

③Power of attorney
The certificate must bear the signature and seal of the person named on the certificate (graduate).
