2024 Student Regular Health Check-ups
We will be conducting regular health checkups for all students in April. Please come to the designated reception time and enter your details in the "health checkup registration" in advance.
Target Audience
Students enrolled in 2024 (including junior college students)
Schedule
April 5th (Fri), 6th (Sat), 7th (Sun), 13th (Sat), 14th (Sun) 9:30-16:30
venue
Gymnasium (Entrance is on the 1st floor)
Advance preparation
Before taking the health check, please be sure to enter your "health check registration" information on the Soka University portal site. If you have not completed the "health check registration," you will not be able to take the health check.
On the day of the health check, you will need to show the registration completion screen of the "Health Check Registration Sheet" at the reception. Please bring your mobile phone with you so that the screen can be checked at the reception.
"Health Check Registration" entry period: March 1st (Friday) to April 14th (Sunday) *New students can enter from March 26th (Tuesday)

Height, weight, urine test, vision, blood pressure, chest X-ray, medical examination
What to bring
- Student ID, writing implements, plain T-shirt, mobile phone (required for entering information on the "health checkup registration form" and presenting the registration screen)
Notes
① Please refrain from visiting us if you fall under any of the following:
- Those suffering from an infectious disease or currently undergoing treatment (such as the new coronavirus or influenza)
- Those who are unwell (those with a fever or cold symptoms and may be infected with an infectious disease)
②Regular health checkups for students at our university are only conducted once a year (free of charge).
③The health certificate can be used for job hunting, studying abroad, internships, job offers, part-time work, etc. Papyrus Mate will be able to issue it in late May.
④ Regarding the health examination certificate, in the following cases, you will need to undergo a medical examination at an external medical institution (at your own expense).
- If you are unable to take this annual health check
- If there is a format specified by a different university
- If there are designated tests (e.g. blood sampling, electrocardiogram, etc.)

Treatment flow
1) Please call or email us and tell us that you would like to come in for a consultation.
2) We will ask you about the content of your consultation and your desired date and time, and then make a reservation.
3) On the day of your appointment, we will conduct your appointment via phone or ZOOM.
4) If necessary, we will provide hospital referrals and write referral letters.
Points to note when undergoing online medical treatment
- Whether you are using a PC or smartphone, please download the ZOOM app in advance.
- Due to communication costs, we recommend using a Wi-Fi environment when using ZOOM.
- Due to security issues, there is a rare possibility that confidential information of clients may be accessed illegally. Please make sure that antivirus software is installed on any computer, smartphone, or tablet used for online consultations.
- You will be responsible for providing your own telephone line, internet line, connection device, and other necessary environment for online medical consultations.
- Please make sure to set up your PC or smartphone so that you can use the microphone (and camera, if possible).
- Depending on the quality of the connection, calls may be interrupted or delayed.
- Fewer visual and auditory cues can lead to communication problems.
- Please refrain from recording or filming medical appointments.
