In April 2010, Soka University established the School for Excellence in Educational Development School for Excellence in Educational Development (SEED) with the aim of contributing to the development of creative global citizens in the 21st century based on the university's founding principles. It will be responsible for developing programs, managing classes, and evaluating and improving the quality of undergraduate education, which will be linked to the education of each faculty, while focusing on education related to common subjects. Our university will continue to promote educational reforms that will further embody the university's founding principles and goals, and contribute greatly to the cultivation of creative individuals - the production of global citizens for the 21st century.
In 2010, we launched the Global Citizenship Program (GCP) for students who aim to play an active role in the international community in the future. We hope to make this a program that provides the excellent educational resources that Soka University possesses and fosters global citizens who embody Founding Spirit.

General Subject Management Center
Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning
The Center for Teaching and Learning (Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning) aims to improve the university's teaching capabilities through improved classes and learning skills. It supports faculty teaching activities by hosting various FD and SD programs. Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning continues to provide an environment where both students and faculty can grow.
World Language Center (WLC)
The World Language Center (WLC) aims to develop students' foreign language skills and intercultural coexistence skills and to foster global citizens. Through programs such as overseas language training and the Self-Access Center (SAC), we support students in developing a global perspective, understanding different cultures, and becoming individuals who can play an active role in the international community.
General Learning Support Center
The General Learning Support Center (SPACe) provides support to bring out the potential of each and every student. Based at the Learning Commons "SPACe," we hold study consultations and seminars, and provide support to improve study methods and acquire the skills necessary for self-actualization, aiming to improve the quality of education.
Data Science Education Promotion Center
With the development of AI, the use of big data, and the advent of the Society 5.0 era, there is a strong demand for knowledge of data science to play an active role in modern society. Soka University provides full support for students' data science studies, mainly through this center.
