Distance Learning Division

Based on the Founding Spirit of its founders, Distance Learning Division aims to open up university education to all members of society.
The regular course has four faculties and five departments: economics and management, law, education, and literature. Students who complete the prescribed credits will be awarded a bachelor's degree (university graduation degree).

Furthermore, by acquiring the required credits in each faculty and department, students can obtain qualifications such as Japanese language teacher, social education specialist/social education officer appointment qualification, and kindergarten/elementary school teacher's license. They can also aim to obtain qualifications such as financial planner (FP skills specialist) and Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry bookkeeping certification.
*The Social Education Specialist Appointment Course will end in fiscal year 2029.

When taking courses, you can start by studying one subject, allowing you to choose what to study based on your goals.
The greatest feature of distance learning is that it allows students to study independently "anytime, anywhere," regardless of their age, occupation, or place of residence.
By studying online, you can attend classes and take exams at home, and choose a learning style that suits your lifestyle. In addition, we have set up an ICT support desk and provide telephone support services for those who are unsure about using a computer, so you can study with peace of mind.

To date, 23,581 students (as of the end of March 2026) have graduated from Distance Learning Division.
