The exhibition “The Path of Founder Daisaku Ikeda’s Education, Academic Exchange, and Honorary Academic Titles Received” at the Central Tower has been renewed

The exhibition " The Path of Founder Daisaku Ikeda’s Education, Academic Exchange, and Honorary Academic Titles Received" at the entrance hall of Central Tower has been renewed.

The renewal includes a new look to the wall displays, and in addition to introducing the school of learning - “Soka Education connecting throughout the world”, the exhibition also displays the robe worn by the founder at the honorary award ceremony when the title of honorary doctorate was conferred on him by Soka University.

At the end of the exhibition, under the title of “Awards conferred upon Founder Daisaku Ikeda; dedicated to the two mentors Tsunesaburo Makiguchi and Josei Toda”, the new section includes information on the national awards the founder received, awards by the UN agencies and peace proposals written by the founder.

On the east side of the hall, opposite the Da Vinci statue, work is underway on the 50th Anniversary Special Exhibition – The History of Soka University, which will open to public from October 8. Together with the renewed permanent exhibition, the entrance hall of the Central Tower will be transformed into a place where visitors can learn more about Soka University. We hope that you will enjoy the exhibitions.
