Exhibitions Held in the Past
The exhibition on “Understanding, Friendship, and Peace – Daisaku Ikeda and China” introducing the Founder’s efforts and the path paved on working for the friendship of Sino-Japanese relations was held. About 140 guests from the Chinese Embassy, faculty staff members, and students participated in the opening ceremony.
To commemorate Founder’s 300th Honorary Doctorate, a “Special Exhibition to Commemorate 300 Honorary Doctorates – The Educational and Academic Exchanges of the Founder of Soka University, Daisaku Ikeda” was held at the lobby of Central Tower, Level 5.
Soka Education Research Institute held an exhibition displaying a collection of [1300 Translated Works] written by the Founder. This exhibition was an updated version of the exhibition on [1000 Translated Works] written by the Founder, held in April after receiving positive reviews.
In 2004, an exhibition on Lu Xun’s writings and related works from Ikeda’s book collection was held at Central Tower Level 4, Exhibition Room 4.
In May 2003, an exhibition on “The History of Soka University”, “Graduation Commemorative Book, Founder’s Writings to Students”, and “30th Anniversary of Dialogue between Ikeda and Toynbee” was held.
