Our founder, Daisaku Ikeda, spoke about the importance of "intrinsic motivation" in his lecture "The Age and Philosophy of Soft Power" at Harvard University. I would like to think about and learn about the importance of intrinsic motivation together with all of you who will be responsible for nursing in the future.
The Japanese word for studying is "to study hard," so there may be many difficult times, but let's overcome these challenges together by making the most of our own "inner motivation" as we work toward our big dreams and hopes.
