research content

With the widespread use of SNS in recent years, it has become easy to receive the latest information and topics of interest. Nowadays, SNS is widely used as a tool not only by individuals but also by companies and organizations to communicate their values to users. On the other hand, the spread of information of uncertain veracity and extreme opinions has become a social issue. As such, there are various advantages and disadvantages to the spread of information on SNS. My research aims to mathematically elucidate the mechanisms and methods of information diffusion that make use of the advantages and suppress the disadvantages. Specifically, I conduct theoretical and experimental research by abstracting SNS into a social network, and further abstracting information and users into a mathematical model.
