Research theme	The Economic History of Human Capital in Postwar Japan
research content	Up until now, I have been researching the roles of blue-collar workers who only graduated from junior high school and blue-collar workers who only graduated from high school during Japan's period of rapid economic growth after the war. Recently, I have been researching the significance and role of apprentices who graduate from junior high school, receive three years of training at a company school, and are assigned to the work site.
Research and Education Policy	Regarding research, I would like to continue researching the history of human resources and education and training at companies (factories). Regarding education, I would like to encourage research while respecting the concerns of the graduate students.
Message	I want you to learn a lot, face your own ignorance, and have the attitude of continuing to learn. The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know. The more I realize I don't know, the more I want to learn.
