In recent years, much of marketing research has been done using statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data. Therefore, knowledge of statistics is necessary to conduct research. You will also be required to learn how to use statistical software (recently, R is often used) and the theories that form the basis of your research (psychology, sociology, economics, etc.) through your own efforts.
First and foremost, you need to be proactive in your research and have the toughness to withstand hard work.
