Interview
Please introduce yourself.
I was born in Saga Prefecture and grew up surrounded by the sea and mountains. My hobby is basketball.
Please tell us about your research.
I mainly use household-level data to study how public policies have affected society, and how the balance between household burdens and benefits has changed across generations.
What kind of contributions to society do you expect as your research progresses?
Quantitative evaluation of past policies can serve as a measure to predict the effectiveness of similar policies when implemented in the future.
What can you learn in the seminar?
You will learn how to approach policy evaluation and establishing causal relationships.
Please say a few words to all the students.
I hope that you will live your student life by pursuing the interests and questions that arise in your daily life and in lectures to the fullest until you are satisfied with the answers.
