research content | My research has focused on studying the area of the English verb system, especially the problems of English tense, aspect, and modality, investigating proper and effective methods for teaching the area and troublesome grammar problems for Japanese students of English, and studying some changes in English grammar and usage in present-day British and American English. |
Research and Education Policy | My main research interest has been in the corpus-based investigation of changes in present-day English grammar and usage in British English and American English.
