research content

I am conducting research on educational administration, particularly social education administration, and the research I have been involved in can be broadly divided into three areas. The first is to examine the differences in the management bodies of social education facilities. This is linked to the fundamental issue of examining the uniqueness and raison d'être of social education facilities.
The second is to examine the role played by (part-time) staff and volunteers in the management of educational institutions.
The third is to compare school education finances and social education finances with regard to the issue of financial resources that support administrative activities. His three main books and papers are as follows: Suzuki Mari, Inoue Nobuyoshi, and Oki Masanori (eds.), "Social Education Facilities Theory," Gakubunsha, 2015; "Social Education Planning and the Role of Heads and Councillors" (Suzuki Mari et al. (eds.), "Basics of Social Education Planning" (new edition), Gakubunsha, 2012); "Considerations on the Part-time Staff System and Outsourcing in the Management of Public Social Education Facilities" (Lifelong Learning and Social Education Research Journal (Issue 1), Institute for the Promotion of Lifelong Learning and Social Education Research, 2007).

Research and Education Policy

Seventy years have passed since the new system was launched, and social life has changed greatly during that time. The education system has undergone several transitional periods. I believe it is important to utilize the 70-year history of the new system as a research asset and derive universal knowledge (both in theory and practice) regarding the ideal education system for learners. In terms of educational policy, firstly, I would like to draw out and respect the students' interests, and to hold classes that allow students to share an investigative time rather than a general overview, and secondly, I would like to take care of and encourage students who aspire to be researchers so that they can acquire skills that will be useful in the medium to long term, such as research procedures and problem setting.

Message

External factors such as educational systems and management can have a significant impact on our educational and learning activities. When considering good systems and management, it is essential to pay attention to and understand people. I hope that we can pursue the appeal and excitement of such learning together.
