Soka University have signed an exchange agreement with Earth Charter International.

The signing ceremony for the exchange agreement between our university and Earth Charter International (ECI) was held on Friday, May 16th at our university's Global Square.
Earth Charter International is the international organization responsible for promoting and disseminating the Earth Charter, which was published in 2000 and outlines the essential values and principles for building a sustainable future.
Based on this agreement, students and faculty from our university plan to participate in various programs and symposiums hosted by ECI in the future, and to engage in lively exchanges.
At the signing ceremony, our university's President Mika Suzuki said, "We would like to further accelerate our efforts toward realizing a sustainable society."
ECI Executive Director Mirian Villela, who attended the meeting online, said, "We hope that this agreement will be a valuable opportunity for both sides to share knowledge and ideas and broaden each other's perspectives."
