Graduation Ceremony for Exchange Students and Undergraduate Non-Degree Students Held for the Spring 2025 Term - 120 Students from 41 Countries and Regions Graduate

On Wednesday, July 30, the 2025 Spring Semester Closing Ceremony was held at Global Square Discovery Hall, and 120 students, including exchange students and Undergraduate Non-Degree students from 41 countries and regions, completed the course.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Yoshihide Akiya Chairperson, Board of Trustees expressed his gratitude to the international students who studied at Soka University, saying, "I hope that you will continue to take on challenges to realize your dreams based on your valuable experience at Soka University."

Following the presentation of the certificate, exchange student SOUVANTHONG LISASOPHI (Laos) and Undergraduate Non-Degree student NY ONJA FANIRIANTSOA ANDRIAMANANJARA (Madagascar) stood up to greet each other and talked about meeting many friends from all over the world and various challenges at Soka University.

After that, Mika Suzuki President sent a message of encouragement, saying, "I hope that everyone who studied at Soka University will cherish the friendships they have cultivated here and become a person who will expand solidarity for peace in their respective countries and regions many times."

Finally, a commemorative video looking back on their study abroad life was screened to celebrate the departure of international students.
