Soka University Receives Award at World Swahili Day Commemoration Ceremony Held at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai

On Monday, July 7th, the World Swahili Day Commemoration Ceremony, hosted by the United Republic of Tanzania and others, was held at the Kansai Expo Festival Station in Osaka, where our university was presented with a certificate of commendation and a trophy.
The award was presented by the Swahili Language Council of Japan (BAKITA) in recognition of the university's many years of contributions to the promotion, dissemination, and development of Swahili in Japan.
