"Soka University Study Abroad Information Session" held in South Korea

On July 19th, Soka University Study Abroad Information Sessions were held in Daegu, South Korea, and on July 20th, Soka University Study Abroad Information Sessions were held in Seoul, led by Mika Suzuki President from Soka University, and participated by local high school students and their parents.

At the briefing session, following a greeting from President Suzuki, a video was shown in which current students from Korea talked about their experiences of building memories with students from all over the world during the Sodai Festival and dormitory life while working hard to learn the language. After that, a graduate from Korea took the stage and described the events that remained in his mind during his time at the university and what he was doing after graduation.
After the screening of the 50th anniversary video of the university's founding, the university's faculty members explained the educational curriculum, scholarships, and the new department to be opened in 2026, followed by a staff member who introduced the development of the campus, including the entrance examination system, scholarship system, and student dormitory. At the individual consultation session after the meeting, the staff of the International Affairs Office of the university answered questions from the participants, such as the entrance examination system and student life.
