Soka University Study Abroad Information Session Held in Indonesia

On September 13, Soka University study abroad information sessions were held in Batam, Indonesia, and on September 14, in Jakarta, led by Yoshihide Akiya Chairperson, Board of Trustees, Junichi Ida, and Vice President others, and local high school students and their parents participated.
At the information session, following Akiya Chairperson, Board of Trustees 's greeting, a video introducing the university was shown. After that, the graduates from Indonesia reported on how they are active in society based on their studies at Soka University. Next, a video was shown summarizing the reasons why current students from Indonesia wanted to apply to Soka University, and their experiences of building memories with students from all over the world through the Soka Festival and dormitory life.
Vice President Ida explained the campus, the educational curriculum, and the new department to be opened in 2026. In addition, International Affairs Office staff introduced the support system for entrance examinations, scholarships, and student dormitories, as well as the state of student life.
At the individual consultation session after the meeting, our faculty and staff answered questions from the participants, such as their undergraduate studies and the entrance examination system.
