On Sunday, October 12, the 7th Soka University Frontier Association General Meeting was held at the Soka University Matsukaze Center, with a total of 570 alumni and their families from all over Japan, as well as from Singapore, South Korea, and other countries.
Sodai Frontier Association is a group of graduates of Career Support Staff (CSS) who provide career counseling for first- and second-year students, and Recruit Support Staff (RSS) who provide job hunting support for third- and fourth-year students.
At the general meeting, following the greetings of the executive committee members, President Mika Suzuki said, "There is no waste in life experiences. With the pride of being from Sodai in our hearts, let's open up the path of our mission."
After that, a news report from the Career Center, an introduction to the activities of the 22nd CSS and RSS classes working to support juniors as current students, and a report on the activities of three graduates were presented, introducing their active performance in their respective fields.
Finally, the Yoshihide Akiya chairman encouraged the participants, saying, "With the spirit of the founding in mind, even if there are many trials, let's go back to the origins of the founding era and continue to take on challenges with strength."
At the venue, the graduates, who had not met each other for the first time in a long time, were happy to reunite with their old friends, and were enveloped in a warm atmosphere from beginning to end, discussing their memories of their student days and their current situation, and it was an opportunity to deepen the bonds of the Soka University Frontier Association.
