Special Lecture by Dr. Neelakanta Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the Indian Council of Gandhian Studies
On Wednesday, September 24, a special lecture by Dr. Neelakanta Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the Gandhi Research Council of India, was held in the learning arena of SPACe on the second floor of Global Square, attended by students, faculty and staff.
Dr. Radhakrishnan, a pioneer of Gandhi studies in India, came to the university as a Lecturer of the University's Global Perspectives Lecture Series, which is a series of lectures by experts in the global field.
In the lecture, under the theme of "The Significance of Gandhi's Thought on Nonviolence in Conflicts in the Contemporary World," he talked about the importance of "practicing dialogue," which is to find common ground even in different positions from the "power of value creation" that uses knowledge and technology for peace in a chaotic modern society.
