Refugee Film Festival Partners' "The Great Green Wall" screening held at our university

Management team on October 17th

A screening of the movie "The Great Green Wall" was held on Sunday, October 12 at Classroom Global Square AC631 and on Friday, October 17 at Discovery Hall, and about 100 people from inside and outside the university visited the event on both days. This screening has been held annually since 2018 in collaboration with the student organization "ASPIRE SOKA", which was established on the occasion of its participation in the United Nations Academic Impact, and this is the eighth time.

At the screening, following a greeting from Yoko Suzuki (Faculty of Law 4th year) of ASPIRE SOKA, Inna Moja, a world-renowned female musician from the Republic of Mali, watched the music documentary "The Great Green Wall," in which she connects people through music and takes on the challenge of realizing the largest tree planting project in human history.
Before the screening on Friday the 18th, there was an opening act by the Pan-African Friendship Association, and after the screening, a presentation was given by the management members about the film.
