Soka University Soyukai Scholarship "Certificate Award Ceremony" Held

The 2025 Soka University Soyukai Scholarship Scholarship Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 21 at the University Global Square. This scholarship is a non-refundable scholarship system established in FY2020 with support from the Soyukai, a gathering of alumni, to support students who are financially struggling to study.

At the award ceremony, Akio Nishiura, chairman of the Soyukai, introduced that the scholarship system is based on the sincere support of graduates, and expressed his expectations, saying, "Please engrave the thoughts of your seniors in your heart, learn to your heart's content at the university, and spread your wings powerfully to society."
President Mika Suzuki then gave a speech and said, "With the spirit of the founding in mind, I sincerely hope that you will grow into a human resource who can play an active role for society and peace in the future."
After the scholarship certificate was awarded to the representative student, President Yoshihide Akiya sent a message of encouragement, saying, "I hope that you will play an active role in the future following the seniors who are working hard in society and paving the way for juniors."
