ICU students compete well in the "All Japan Amateur Comedy No. 1 Championship 2025"

On December 7th, the finals of the "All Japan Amateur Comedy No. 1 Tournament 2025" were held at Koenji 2, Tokyo, and Naoki Kawamura (Faculty of Letters 3rd year) and Hideaki Nakaya (Faculty of Science and Engineering 3rd year) of the Rakugo Research Group duo "Maka Fushigi" participated.

This tournament, sponsored by the Adult Comedy Association, was a decisive match for the best amateur comedy in Japan who did not belong to an entertainer office or training center, and the MC of the final was comedian "Nanamagari".

From a total of 769 entries, Makafugi won the preliminary round and semi-finals, and advanced to the final, where only 12 groups could participate. Although he unfortunately missed the best in Japan, he was involved in a whirlpool of laughter in the venue and showed off his comic talent that made even the professional comedians who served as judges roar.
