Graduation Ceremony Held for 2025 Fall Semester Exchange Students, Special Course Students, and Short-Term Trainees - 120 Students from 28 Countries and Regions Graduate

On Thursday, January 29, the Fall 2025 Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony was held at the Global Square Discovery Hall, and 120 exchange students, special students, and short-term trainees from 28 countries and regions completed the course.

At the graduation ceremony, President Yoshihide Akiya expressed his gratitude to the international students who studied at Soka University, saying, "In an era of division and confusion, the bonds of friendship that you have cultivated at Soka University are treasures, and I hope that you will realize your dreams on the stage of your mission."

Following the presentation of the certificate, Senarath Patiranage Dilmi Kauya Tassarani, an exchange student from University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, and Ms. Sui Wenyan, a special student from China, stood up to greet each other, looking back on the days they took on challenges at Soka University and expressing their gratitude for the many friends they met from all over the world.

After that, President Mika Suzuki encouraged him, saying, "The friendship you have cultivated will be a great force for world peace, and I hope you will continue to study in the future by making use of what you have learned at Soka University."

Finally, a commemorative video looking back on their study abroad life was screened to celebrate the departure of international students.
