"New Year's Party for International Students" held to deepen ties with Japanese traditions

The "New Year's Party for International Students" for international students and exchange faculty members who welcomed the New Year in Japan was held on Monday, January 5 at the University New Loire Cafeteria, and about 160 people participated.
Introduction President Mika Suzuki gave a speech to celebrate the New Year and praise the daily efforts of international students. During the chatting time, performances by international student representatives and lottery competitions were held, and the New Year was celebrated lively. In addition, at each table, you can see how to spend the New Year in your country, making it a time of international exchange.

Finally, President Yoshihide Akiya said, "This New Year's party is a traditional event that began at the suggestion of the founder, Dr. Ikeda, to ensure that international students do not have a lonely New Year, and has been a traditional event that has been going on for nearly 20 years. I hope that this year will be a year of good health and a big step forward towards your goals."
