The 2025 Faculty of International Liberal Arts Makiguchi Memorial Education Foundation Scholarship "Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony" was held.

On Friday, January 30th, the 2025 Faculty of International Liberal Arts Makiguchi Memorial Education Foundation Scholarship Scholarship Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held at the Global Square of our university. This scholarship is funded by the Makiguchi Memorial Education Foundation and is awarded to representatives of students participating in Faculty of International Liberal Arts study abroad training.

At the award ceremony, Dean Ichiro Sugimoto told the scholarship students who will be studying abroad from February this year, "I hope that all of you will have a safe and fruitful study abroad life."

After that, Takahiro Okabe, chairman of the Makiguchi Memorial Education Foundation, said, "I hope that you will inherit the thoughts of Dr. Makiguchi, Dr. Toda, and Dr. Ikeda, and grow with the power to contribute to the happiness of mankind with the heart of the founder as your own heart in a world where division occurs.

Next, on behalf of the scholarship students, Kazuhisa Takagi (Faculty of International Liberal Arts 1st year), who is studying abroad in Griffith University, Australia, and Sachiko Imaseki (same year), who is studying in Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, expressed their aspirations.

Finally, President Yoshihide Akiya encouraged him, saying, "I hope that you will continue to learn and grow into a creative person by taking the opportunity to study abroad as an opportunity to challenge."
