Ambassador Anderson G. Mutatenbwa of the United Republic of Tanzania visited the university.
On Monday, March 30, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mr. Anderson G. Mutatenbwa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Republic of Tanzania, visited the University and met with Vice President Akio Nishiura and others at the Global Square of the University. At the beginning of the meeting, Vice President Nishiura introduced the Daisaku Ikeda history of the founder's exchange with Tanzania, and his friendship with former President Mukapa, symbolized by the cherry blossom trees on campus.
Ambassador Mutatenbwa commented on the Swahili speech content of the university and exchanged views on future academic exchanges with Tanzanian universities and the establishment of cooperative relations centered on language exchanges between the two countries.
