The university and the university signed an exchange agreement in 2018, and the agreement has been renewed for further cooperation and cooperation.

President Suzuki expressed his gratitude for the partnership so far and said, "I believe that today's renewal of the agreement will be an important step in taking the bond between the two universities to a new level." President Jerry noted that the renewal of the agreement between the two universities will lead to the promotion of exchanges between Japan and Canada, and said, "We will promote educational, cultural, and language exchanges to bring peace to the world."

After that, President Jerry and his party moved to the Faculty of Education building of our university. We discussed with students on topics such as "What is necessary for student well-being", "How to face artificial intelligence and generative AI as an educator", and "What kind of value creation is expected from society for the younger generation, including university students".

The following comments were received from the students who participated in the meeting.
・I was impressed by the story of Soka University's philosophy of "value creation". While attending the meeting, I realized that I was involved in deepening the friendship between Lenison and Soka University, albeit in a small way, and I felt honored.
・I realized the strong connection between Lenison and Soka University and that Soka education is globally accepted. In order to grow as a global citizen, I would like to work even harder in my daily studies.

President Jerry and President Suzuki exchange a firm handshake after signing the agreement renewal.
