We held a get-together for apartment-dwelling students and home-dwelling students for the 2026 academic year.

On Thursday, April 30th, we held a social gathering for apartment students and home students for the 2026 academic year at the New Loire cafeteria of our university. The event was held with the aim of deepening the exchange between commuter students from apartments and homes who entered this year's school this year, and about 300 faculty and staff including the Yoshihide Akiya president, Mika Suzuki president, and student representatives participated.

At the social gathering, faculty and staff, including the dean, and senior students were divided into tables to welcome the new students. We started with a self-introduction of where we were from, and talked about classes, club and circle activities, etc., while looking back on our university life one month after entering the school. In addition, a lottery tournament was held to win prizes such as goods, daily necessities, and cash vouchers that are useful for university life. Every time the winning number was read out, it showed great excitement.

President Suzuki stood up and said, "I hope you will make full use of the university's support environment and grow greatly through your studies and club and circle activities.

The following comments were received from the participating students.

・It was really good that we were able to deepen our friendship with many friends in a friendly atmosphere by holding this social gathering shortly after entering the school.
・I was relieved to be able to exchange opinions on the learning content while having a meal with the faculty teachers, and to have an environment that was close to each student.
・Not only were I blessed with my peers, but I also had connections with my seniors, and I was able to gain reassuring support. I would like to continue to value relationships with people and expand exchanges.
