Our university's student team "SWDC" and dance team "WORLDWINGS," which includes current students and alumni, won first place in two categories at the World Cheerleading Championships!
Current students and alumni of our university represented Japan at the "2026 FI Moscow International University SU World University Cheerleading Championship" held in Gothenburg, Sweden, June 5 (Fri) ~ June 7 (Sun), and their current students and alumni represented Japan in the performance cheerleading division "University Hip Hop" and "University Hip Hop Doubles." won gold medals in these two events.
This tournament is a world cheerleading and performance cheerleading competition organized by the Moscow International University Sports Federation (FISU), targeting student-athletes from around the world, with delegations from 16 countries participating. Eighteen members of our university's student team "SWDC," and one current student and one graduate from the dance team "WORLD WINGS," which includes current and alumni of our university, participated.
