We held the 2026 Takiyama International Dormitory Sports Tournament.

On Saturday, June 13, the Takiyama International Dormitory held a sports tournament, with about 200 dormitory students participating, including international students. The sports tournament featured five events: 'Tail Catch,' 'Soccer,' 'Dodgeball,' 'Ultimate,' and 'All-Athlete Relay,' with teams divided into four blocks of Takiyama International Dormitory A, B, C, and D competing against each other. Through the competition, friendships deepened beyond grade, faculty, and block boundaries.

Shota Nagata, the head of the B Block dormitory and winner (Graduate School of Science and Engineering, second-year master's student), said, "It was impressive to see everyone come up with strategies together and each person demonstrate leadership while competing. We will continue to do our best so that through events and dormitory life, residents can deepen their connections across grades and nationalities!" he said.
