We held the 8th installment of our online event for high school students, "Frank Talk!"
On Sunday, May 24th, we held our 8th online event for high school students, "Butchake Talk!", with over 60 participants from across the country, including junior and senior high school students and their parents.
This event aims to provide hints and new insights for junior and senior high school students considering their future educational paths by having current students frankly answer their questions about the realities of university life and other common concerns.
This time, the event began with a talk show by students from Kyushu, and included a wide range of topics in a conversational format, such as how they chose to attend university, their student life after enrollment, and their experiences taking entrance exams.
Next, the event was divided into "Student Life Booth," "Learning Booth," and "Admissions Consultation Booth" for Q&A sessions, and many questions were submitted via chat by the participants.
The following comments were received from participants:
・After listening to the stories of the upperclassmen, I've become even more determined to learn more about Soka University! (High school senior / Kanagawa Prefecture)
・Thanks to the kind and helpful responses from the students during the Q&A session, and their clear explanations, I was able to ask questions with confidence. (High school senior / Hokkaido)
The students were wonderful, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to their presentations. I'm looking forward to the next one. (Parent/Hiroshima Prefecture)
The 9th installment of this event is scheduled to be held in September of this year. Additionally, an online entrance examination guidance session for the 2027 academic year will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 5 PM.
The latest information will be posted on the following page as it becomes available.
