Rosina Hoaves, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Namibia to Japan, and Kenneth Mateng, Vice-Chancellor (Rector) of the University of Namibia, and their delegation visited the university.

On Friday, June 19, Rosina Hoaves, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Namibia to Japan, and Kenneth Matengu, Vice President (President) of the University of Namibia, visited the university and held a discussion with Yoshihide Akiya President and Vice President Akio Nishiura at our university's Global Square.

During the meeting, Ambassador Hoa Bes expressed his expectations for the friendly relations between the two countries and the progress in the field of education. Vice President Matengu stated that regarding future academic exchanges, "We would like to promote strong collaboration in research fields such as marine resources and energy, as well as through student study abroad programs

Akiya The Chairman, while reflecting on the history of educational and academic exchanges between our university and African universities, stated, "We aim to realize a diverse society by promoting joint research and student exchanges."
