[For high school students] "What can university learning lead to international cooperation?" was held
On Saturday, August 1st, we held a special open campus event with alumni who are active in the field of international cooperation as lecturers, under the theme of "What kind of university studies lead to international cooperation?"
In the morning's "International Cooperation Job Experience," participants learned about the overview of the job from the instructors. Afterwards, participants acted as staff members of international organizations and discussed in groups using photographs depicting various situations in developing countries as their subject matter, considering the challenges and solutions in each photograph's scenario. Finally, each group presented their findings, deepening their understanding of each other's perspectives.
In the afternoon, under the theme of "Learning that Leads to International Cooperation," we explored the expertise and skills necessary to succeed in the international field, consulting the university's "Campus Guide" and researching the international cooperation-related learning opportunities offered by each faculty. High school students, current students, and alumni who participated came together to deepen their friendships while learning, making it an enjoyable opportunity to learn about international cooperation and university studies throughout the day.

Furthermore, the Soka education system, which emphasizes valuing each individual and leaving no one behind, resonated deeply with me, and I strongly desired to study at Soka University.
