Ambassador Wan Hadfi Latif of Brunei to Japan and his delegation visited the university.

On Thursday, July 23, Ambassador Wan Hadofi Latif and his delegation from Brunei visited the university and held discussions at our university's Global Square with President Yoshihide Akiya, International Affairs Office President Taeko Yasutake, and Visiting Professor Eiji Yamamoto.

During the discussion, Ambassador Wan Hadofi expressed gratitude for the long-standing collaboration between our university and University of Brunei Darussalam, stating, "Through this visit, my understanding of Soka University has deepened further. I look forward to further expanding collaboration in academic and educational fields and deepening the relationship between our two countries."
Akiya The Chairman expressed gratitude for the fruitful exchange between the two universities since signing an academic exchange agreement in 2009, stating, "We would like to take today as a new starting point to deepen the bond between the two universities and further advance youth exchanges that will shape the future."
