We held a Soka University Study Abroad Information Session in Malaysia.

From July 24th (Friday) to July 26th (Sunday), Soka University held study abroad information sessions in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Sabah, Malaysia, with approximately 300 high school students and their parents participating.

At each information session, following greetings from Vice President Akio Nishiura, a video introducing the university was shown. Afterwards, local Soka University alumni shared their reasons for choosing Soka University and their experiences as students. In the general session, Vice President Nishiura and Assistant Professor Stella Chan Ong Sang of the Faculty of Science and Engineering explained the university's overview, admissions system, tuition and scholarship system, student dormitories, and employment and career support. Finally, a video summarizing the student life of current students was shown.
During the individual consultations held after the information session, many students were seen actively seeking advice about studying abroad.

On Friday, July 24, we visited three secondary and high schools in Kuala Lumpur: Kunseong Middle School, Chinese Independent Middle School, and Xunjin Middle School, exchanging opinions with faculty members from each school, focusing on the unique features of the School of International Liberal Arts and the School of Science and Engineering Department of Green Technology.
