Shen Qing, Chairperson of the Beijing Da Luan Xiang Yu Charity Foundation, visited the university and a tree-planting ceremony was held.

On Monday, July 27, Mr. Shen Qingqing and his delegation from the Beijing Dalian Xiangyu Charity Foundation visited the university and held a meeting with Chairman Yoshihide Akiya and others at our university's Global Square.

During the discussion, Chairman Shen touched on the history of friendship between founder Mr. Daisaku Ikeda and Premier Zhou Enlai, stating, "Through cultural and educational exchanges, I would like to devote myself to nurturing young people who will lead both countries." Chairman Akiya said, "Through the power of education, I hope to further deepen Japan-China friendship and nurture talent who will lead the future."

Additionally, the foundation donated a Mikaido tree to our university, and a tree-planting ceremony was held by the Literary Pond.
