The graduation ceremony for exchange students, special students, and short-term Japanese language trainees for the Spring 2026 semester was held – 164 students from 38 countries and regions completed their programs.

On Wednesday, July 29, the 2026 Spring Semester Graduation Ceremony was held at Global Square Discovery Hall, with 164 students from 38 countries and regions, including exchange students, special students, and Japanese short-term trainees, completing the program.

At the beginning, International Affairs Office President Taeko Yasutake gave a greeting and encouraged everyone, saying, "Please make use of what you have learned at Soka University and walk a life of continuous challenge toward realizing your dreams." Following the presentation of the certificates, exchange student Georgieva Victoria Martynova (from Bulgaria) and special student Silva Lima Davi (from Brazil) reflected on their study abroad experiences at our university and expressed their gratitude for their growth and the encounters they made with their classmates.

Afterwards, President Mika Suzuki sent encouragement to the graduates, saying, "I hope you will build strong solidarity on the friendships cultivated at our university and expand these solidarity in many layers toward world peace." Finally, a commemorative video reflecting on their study abroad life was screened to the song of the international students.
