We have launched the official website for the Soka University Intelligent Robotics and Sensing Co-creation Center (CIRoS).

On April 1, 2026, the Intelligent Robotics and Sensing Co-creation Center (CIRoS) and its core organization, the Intelligent Robotics and Sensing Co-creation Research Center, were established within the Faculty of Science and Engineering as one of the university's key research centers.
Accordingly, we have launched an official website for the purpose of disseminating information and sharing research results from this center. Please visit the link below.

This center (accredited period: April 2026 to March 2031, a period of 5 years) aims to comprehensively promote research and development, social implementation, and human resource development through co-creation with industry, local communities, and students, by integrating intelligent robotics, generative AI, sensing, and virtual environments.

- Won a total of 8 awards, including first place in the @Space Challenge.

- Achieved 13th place overall and 4th place worldwide in the poster presentation category.

[Research presentations and academic exchange]
- Hosted the "STAR Poster Presentation" jointly by three research laboratories, where a total of 15 research presentations were given.
- The Space AI Robotics Association (SAIRA), where Center Director Hagiwara serves as a board member, has been established.

- Holding robotics classes for elementary school students at "Kodomo Icho Juku" (Children's Ginkgo Academy)
