We have signed a "High School-University Collaboration Agreement" with Tokyo Metropolitan Sunagawa High School.
The signing ceremony for the university-high school partnership agreement between our university and Tokyo Metropolitan Sunagawa High School was held on September 29 (Tuesday) at our university Global Square. Principal Mitsuru Oba and Career Guidance Advisor Yuta Shimizu attended from the school, and Vice President Hideki Tamai attended from our university.
Sunagawa High School is a three-part, credit-based day-evening evening high school where students can choose their commuting times according to their lifestyles. With attentive support, students can pursue diverse career paths such as graduation within three years, university admission, and employment.
Through this agreement, we are envisioning the implementation of the following types of collaboration and cooperation projects.
・Conducting visiting lectures and talks by university faculty
・Dispatch and learning support for our students (such as students and assistants) in inquiry-based learning
・Participation in university tours, open classes, open campus events, etc. by students
・Exchange of educational information and interaction among faculty and staff
During the discussion, Principal Oba said, "By deepening collaboration in higher education, I hope each student will broaden their perspectives and gain practical learning that replaces classroom learning with real-world learning."
Vice President Tamai stated, "We want to actively promote collaboration so that we can provide each other with the joy of learning and serve as a positive stimulus for both our students and their students."
