Signed an academic exchange agreement with the University of Barcelona Faculty of Nursing of the Kingdom of Spain

The signing ceremony of the interfaculty exchange agreement between the Kingdom of Spain University of Barcelona Faculty of Nursing and the University of Faculty of Nursing was held on Thursday, October 9 at the Berbiche Campus in University of Barcelona.

University of Barcelona is a national university in Catalonia, Spain, founded in 1450, and is one of the most prestigious universities in Europe. It has received high praise both domestically and internationally, and has an outstanding track record in both research and education. In particular, we are developing educational and research activities that make use of our international network.

The signing ceremony was attended by University of Barcelona Faculty of Nursing Dean Maria Teresa Luc, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Marta Romero García, Associate Dean for Studies and International Relations Antonio Moreno Poyato, Associate Dean for Education and Student Support Laura de la Cueva Alisa, and Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs Carmen Moreno Arroyo. Amparo del Pino Gutiérrez, director of nursing education, and other heads of the faculty attended. From our university, President Satoshi Faculty of Nursing Sasaki and Lecturer Yumi Oshida attended.

At the ceremony, Faculty of Nursing Director Luc introduced the University of Barcelona 's commitment to nursing research and expressed his hope for further development of research and academic exchanges between the two universities in the coming time.

Faculty of Nursing President Sasaki expressed his respect for the University of Barcelona parties involved in the efforts leading up to the conclusion of the exchange agreement, and stated that he would work to promote specific exchange activities for mutual development and further deepening of friendly relations in the future.

During the University of Barcelona visit, there was a lively discussion on the possibility of future educational exchanges through visits to the University of Barcelona Affiliated Hospital, campus tours, and exchanges of opinions with Faculty of Nursing faculty and students.
