Koshiro Suzuki of Graduate School of Science and Engineering received the Excellent Lecture Award at the 26th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Measurement and Automatic Control

The 26th Annual Lecture on System Integration (SI2025) was held at the Hiroshima International Conference Center from December 10 to 12, 2025, and the research presentation of Koshiro Suzuki (2nd year master's student) belonging to Yoshinobu Hagiwara's laboratory in Graduate School of Science and Engineering was selected for the "Excellent Presentation Award".

This lecture is one of the largest symposiums in Japan, where the latest research results on the construction of complex systems that integrate humans, robots, and information systems are gathered. The Outstanding Presentation Award is an award that evaluates the advancement and social usefulness of research.

Under the theme of "Position Estimation by Integrated Semantic Maps of Objects and Places for Understanding Robots' Ambiguous Speech," Mr. Suzuki proposed a technology for robots to accurately understand the ambiguous instructions used by humans on a daily basis, aiming to realize a society in which robots coexist while communicating with humans naturally.
