Purpose of Establishment
To foster engineers who will lead energy creation and energy conservation technologies in the Green Transformation (GX), a common global challenge, we will develop education that transcends the boundaries between the humanities and sciences. By doing so, we aim to contribute to the realization of a low-carbon society demanded by society and to develop international human resources who will contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.
Outline of the study
Toward the realization of a low-carbon society, students study earth science and earth observation technology to understand climate change, biological production engineering necessary for stable food production, and various environmentally friendly low-carbon technologies, as well as environmental management and international technical cooperation to return these to society.
In addition, we offer practical and global learning opportunities such as classes in collaboration with companies, joint classes with overseas exchange schools via online, specialized courses in English, and short-term overseas training programs.

Through learning that combines theory and application, centered on the field of "life science," which is essential for protecting human health, we aim to cultivate talent that will contribute to the realization of a society of human well-being that harmonizes scientific and technological development with spiritual richness.
Overview of learning
In order to develop the ability to contribute to health and welfare, and to building a safe and secure society, students will study not only basic science, but also cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields such as glycoscience, electronics engineering, applied physics, and chemistry, which are linked to medical, engineering, and engineering collaboration through the application of life science and technology.
In addition, students can engage in practical learning in collaboration with companies and research institutes to hone their problem-solving skills.
Furthermore, we offer a course for junior and senior high school science teachers, where students can gain practical experience in an actual educational setting and acquire the practical skills necessary for science education that will enable them to convey the joy of learning to junior and senior high school students.
