United Nations Academic Impact
Soka University participates in the "United Nations Academic Impact"
The United Nations Academic Impact is an initiative by the United Nations to promote collaboration with universities and other higher education institutions around the world. The United Nations has established 10 universal principles in the areas of "human rights, literacy, sustainability, and conflict resolution," and participating universities are required to actively support these principles.
Among these, Soka University will focus on "Principle 6: Raise people's awareness as international citizens," "Principle 7: Promote peace and conflict resolution," "Principle 8: Address poverty issues," "Principle 9: Promote sustainability," and "Principle 10: Promote intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding and eliminate intolerance." With this participation in Academic Impact as an opportunity, we will be more proactive in developing education, research, and international contributions in collaboration with the United Nations.
