Soka University baseball team player Masahiro Tateishi was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers, and pitcher Taiyo Yamazaki was drafted by the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. <57th All-Japan University Ekiden> Soka University Ekiden Team placed 7th, earning a seed for the fourth consecutive year. <37th Izumo Ekiden> Soka University Ekiden Team placed 3rd! ~ All athletes ran well, finishing within the top 5 in their sections. The Women's Judo Team performed well at the 2025 All-Japan Student Judo Championships. Soka University students won gold medals at the 2025 ICU (International Cheer Union) World Cheerleading Championships and THE DANCE WORLDS 2025. Double Dutch team R2 students placed 2nd in the nation at Double Dutch Delight Japan 2025. Soka University students also performed well at the All-Japan Amateur Comedy No. 1 Championship 2025.
