Faculty of Nursing Tomomi Saito Assistant Lecturer received the "Academic Paper Award of the Japan Society of Maternal Nursing"!

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Assistant Lecturer Tomomi Saito, a Faculty of Nursing student at Waseda University, received the 19th (2025) Japan Society of Maternal Nursing Academic Paper Award. This award was given in 2023 for a paper "Support by Skilled Midwives for Prenatal Puerperal Women Who Cannot Request Assistance" in collaboration with Professor Otsuki and Associate Professor Morita of the Graduate School of Medical Nursing, Juntendo University. Among the original papers accepted by the Japan Society of Maternal Nursing in FY2025, we received this award because of its novelty, reliability, validity, usefulness, and reproducibility, and as an academic research paper that contributes to the development of maternal nursing.
Upon receiving the award, Assistant Lecturer Saito said, "I am very pleased to be recognized as a paper that deserves an award, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the midwives and collaborators who are working hard for mothers and children for their support." I said.
