With the Graduate School of Engineering / Science and Engineering Department, in 2016 reached an academic exchange agreement with Universiti Sains Malaysia, Chemistry Graduate School of Science. This month, we will hold a symposium with 8 faculty members and graduate students from the Chemistry Graduate School of Science.
This symposium will be held as part of the International Collaborative Research "Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Functional Organic and Polymeric Compounds" of the Soka University Faculty of Science and Technology, FY2017 to FY2018. Seven cases from the Universiti Sains Malaysia side, from Soka University, 11 research cases including professors and graduate students research presentations and a keynote speaker by Professor Atsunori Mori of Kobe University are scheduled (click here for the program). At the Graduate School of Engineering, we have been working on academic exchanges with the Chemistry Graduate School of Science Universiti Sains Malaysia since 2011, but this symposium is expected to be a catalyst for a wider range of academic exchanges.
