[For high school students] "What can university learning lead to international cooperation?" was held

On Sunday, May 4th, we held a special open campus event, inviting a graduate from our university who is active in the field of international cooperation as Lecturer, under the theme of "What kind of university learning leads to international cooperation?"
In the morning session of "International Cooperation Work Experience," Lecturer taught participants the outline of the work, etc. After that, participants pretended to be staff of international organizations, discussed in groups using photos of situations in developing countries, and presented solutions to the problems.
In the afternoon, entitled "Learning Leads to International Cooperation," participants explored the expertise and skills needed to succeed in the international field, looked into the university's "Campus Guide," and researched the learning that each faculty offers that leads to international cooperation. In a friendly atmosphere, participants deepened their interactions with each other, making it a day filled with laughter and learning from start to finish.
The following comments were received from the high school students who participated:
・We were able to reaffirm what international cooperation is, and furthermore, discover new skills and perspectives that we need.
・I was warmly welcomed by current students and alumni, and was attracted by the atmosphere of freedom to pursue my studies.
・I wanted to gain skills quickly and be involved in the field of international cooperation.
