On May 12, delegates from Russia’s Dagestan State University (DSU) led by Vice Rector Gasanov Magomed paid a courtesy call on Soka University. They observed a freshman Russian language course, with the students welcoming them in Russian, toured the SPACe learning center in the Central Academic Tower and spent sometime talking to Soka students.

Soka University Vice President Joji Kaga and International Director Masaru Osanai welcomed the DSU delegation. Vice Rector Magomed noted that Soka students are fortunate to be able to study at a beautiful campus with state-of-the-art facilities. He also said that he was impressed with the foreign language program the university offers and the purity of purpose with which the students pursue learning.
