Singapore’s NTU students attend Japanese language course at Soka
Fifteen students from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) attended a three-week Japanese language and culture course at Soka University from June 6 to 24. This is the fifth consecutive year that NTU sent its students to Soka.
For the latest program, the youth from Singapore toured a number of local Japanese landmarks while taking part in exchange meetings with Soka students in the Faculty of International Liberal Arts as well as members of the on-campus Southeast Asia Club.
At the conclusion of the course, International Department Vice Director Shinjiro Sato presented the NTU students with a certificate of completion and encouraged them to continue pursuing their chosen fields with passion and tenacity. Yasunori Tashiro, Chair of the Soka’s Board of Trustees, was also present
